For countless women, the symptoms of menopause and hormonal imbalance can feel overwhelming and misunderstood. Fatigue, weight gain, brain fog, poor sleep, diminished libido, mood changes, and a general loss of vitality are often dismissed as inevitable parts of aging. Yet many women are told their laboratory results are "normal," leaving them frustrated and searching for answers.
Men face similar challenges during andropause, often experiencing declining energy, reduced muscle mass, increased body fat, decreased libido, mental fog, and a loss of motivation or overall well-being. Like women, many are left wondering why they no longer feel like themselves despite being told everything appears normal.
For Dr. Stuart Diamond, the future of medicine lies not merely in treating disease, but in optimizing health before problems arise. As founder of NDA Aesthetics & Longevity and co-creator of Equilux alongside his wife and business partner, Noelle Diamond, he is helping transform the conversation around hormone health, menopause, and andropause. Together, they are pioneering a science-based approach to hormone optimization and longevity medicine that empowers both men and women to reclaim their energy, vitality, and quality of life while aging healthier and living fuller lives.

So what is Equilux, and how does this treatment serve patients?

The idea for Equilux emerged from years of listening to patients who felt unheard and underserved.

"Traditional hormone replacement therapy often focuses on replacing a hormone when levels fall outside a reference range," he said. "While that can certainly be helpful, we believe the conversation should be much broader."
According to Dr. Diamond, Equilux is a personalized hormone optimization and longevity platform designed to help people understand, optimize, and ultimately unlock their biology.
His goal, to help patients achieve not only longevity, but vitality. "As we often tell patients, longevity without vitality isn't much of a win."

"Women would come into our office saying, 'I barely recognize myself anymore.' They were doing all the right things, yet they felt exhausted, couldn't lose weight, weren't sleeping, and felt like they had lost their spark," Dr. Diamond says. "We heard that story over and over again and thought, 'There has to be a better way.'"
According to Dr. Diamond, one of the most common themes among women seeking help is the feeling that their concerns have been dismissed. "The most common frustration was feeling unheard. One of the phrases we hear most often is, 'I thought I was losing my mind.'"
That experience has become one of the driving forces behind Equilux's patient-centered approach, where listening is just as important as testing.

Convenience and accessibility are also central to the Equilux experience. To streamline testing, the platform utilizes the Tasso® at-home blood collection system, allowing patients to obtain laboratory-quality blood samples without visiting a traditional lab.
"At Equilux, we utilize the Tasso® at-home blood collection system. The device gently adheres to the upper arm and, with the press of a button, collects a blood sample without the need for a traditional laboratory visit," Dr. Diamond explains.
Patients are often surprised by how easy the process can be. "For many patients, the response is usually, 'Wait...that's it?'"

Although hormone optimization is a cornerstone of the program, Dr. Diamond views it as only one piece of the longevity puzzle. "I often joke that hormones are like the conductors of an orchestra," he jests. "When they're functioning well, everything works together beautifully. When they're out of sync, the entire performance can suffer."

At NDA Aesthetics & Longevity, the evaluation process includes much more than hormone testing alone.  "Our longevity services extend beyond hormone optimization and include advanced biomarker testing, body composition analysis, VO₂ Max performance testing, nutritional guidance, and comprehensive longevity consultations."
The result is a more complete picture of a patient's overall health and future wellness potential.

According to Noelle, one of the biggest misconceptions patients encounter involves the timing of menopause itself. "One of the biggest misconceptions is that menopause starts at age fifty. In reality, perimenopause can begin years earlier."
This misunderstanding often delays diagnosis and treatment, leaving many women struggling with symptoms they do not realize are hormonally driven.   For Dr. Diamond and Noelle, some of the most rewarding moments occur months after treatment begins.
"One of my favorite moments is when a patient walks into the office six months later and you can immediately see the difference before they even sit down," Dr. Diamond said. "They're smiling more, standing taller, and speaking with confidence again."
These transformations represent far more than improved lab results—they reflect renewed confidence, energy, and quality of life.
As a Certified Longevity Practitioner through the Geneva College of Longevity Science and a current Master's Degree candidate in Longevity Science, Dr. Diamond remains optimistic about where the field is heading.
Dr. Diamond believes the next generation of healthcare will focus not only on extending lifespan, but also improving the quality of those years. "Most people don't just want to make it to 100. They want energy, strength, purpose, independence, and vitality," he emphasizes. "Growing older is mandatory. Feeling old is often not."
At the heart of Dr. Diamond's work is a simple yet powerful belief: longevity is about more than extending lifespan—it's about enhancing quality of life. That philosophy drives the mission of both Equilux and NDA Aesthetics & Longevity. As Dr. Diamond puts it, "We're not just trying to add years to life—we're trying to add life to years." For patients seeking to age with vitality, purpose, and confidence, that vision is helping redefine what healthy aging can look like.
