Through her dedication to restoring both confidence and quality of life, she continues to make a profound impact on the patients and communities she serves.

In addition to this distinguished honor, Dr. Finkel has also been named among the “Top Industry Experts” in recognition of her exemplary performance, professionalism, leadership, and extraordinary contributions to the medical field. With more than two decades of experience, Dr. Finkel has become one of Arizona’s most respected surgeons, treating patients at her private practices in Chandler and Phoenix, Arizona.
Board-certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Finkel is highly skilled in a wide range of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, with particular expertise in breast reconstruction surgery for women diagnosed with breast cancer or carrying the BRCA gene mutation. Known for her exceptional bedside manner, she combines surgical precision with genuine compassion, supporting patients not only physically but emotionally throughout their healing journeys.
One patient shared a heartfelt reflection on her experience following a mastectomy and reconstruction performed by Dr. Finkel:
“Dr. Finkel has been so supportive and encouraging through my cancer. She has given me humor and common-sense reasons for my concerns and never made me feel silly or unnecessarily over-emotional.”

The patient went on to describe a vulnerable moment following surgery:
“I had a panic attack immediately after my mastectomy/reconstruction and her office sent me to the emergency room, where she was in surgery. She came to my room almost immediately and validated my emotions with the most honest answer: ‘Well, you just had an amputation; panicking would be the normal response.’ She made me feel so comfortable.”
Dr. Finkel’s commitment to excellence has earned her extensive national recognition throughout her career. She has been honored as a Patient Preferred Physician (2017), Physician of the Year (2018–2020), and was listed among the “Top 50 Most Distinguished Professionals in Medicine” in 2022. She has also appeared as a featured guest on “Talking Live” with Dr. Robi Ludwig and on the “Patient Preferred Presents” podcast series.

Her dedication to breast cancer awareness and women’s health has also been recognized in the heart of Times Square, where she was featured on national billboards, and on the cover of Preferred Health Magazine’s “Best in Medicine” issue in 2021. In 2023, she received the Empowered Women in Medicine Award from the Preferred Professionals Network, further solidifying her reputation as a leader and advocate in modern medicine.

Her medical journey began at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine, where she earned her medical degree in 2001. She completed her internship at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Arizona, followed by a residency in General Surgery at Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix in 2006. If you are here for aesthetic reasons, I want to assist you with your cosmetic goals. Whatever your reasons are, I want you to have a wonderful experience from beginning to end with both my staff and myself—and leave with natural-looking and aesthetically pleasing results.”
