PHM: You have over two decades in the field of Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery. What first inspired you to go into medicine? And what was it about plastic surgery that appealed to you?
Dr. David Pincus:
From a young age, I was drawn to medicine by a desire to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. As I progressed in my training, plastic surgery captivated me because of its unique blend of science and artistry. But what truly inspired me was the ability to empower people through physical change. This power to make a profound impact is what drives my passion for plastic surgery every day.

PHM: You treat patients for a plethora of procedures and specialize in multiple procedures. Tell us more about the patients you see and why a diverse surgery category is essential to you.
DP:
I have the privilege of treating a diverse range of patients, each with unique goals. While I specialize in breast and body procedures, I also have a deep passion for facial surgery. Performing a variety of procedures is vital to me, as it keeps my skills sharp and allows me to offer personalized, luxurious care. Whether sculpting the body or refining the face, I take pride in delivering results that align with each patient's vision, ensuring they feel confident and empowered.

PHM: How is your office changing the lives of your patients?
What medical technologies, if any, do you incorporate into your practice?
DP:
At our New York and Boca Raton offices, we transform lives through expertly crafted plastic surgery, bringing renewed confidence to our patients. Seeing their smiles post-procedure is the most rewarding part of our work. With a skilled team that excels in both clinical and business aspects, we have the ability to transform lives for the better.
We incorporate the latest medical technologies, from advanced body sculpting in the operating room to cutting-edge nonsurgical treatments in our medspa. By staying at the forefront of these innovations, we offer a personalized approach that helps each patient look and feel their best.

PHM: We seem to be hearing more and more about people receiving plastic and cosmetic procedures. What do you think has changed over the years?
DP:
Growing up and studying in Miami, I witnessed firsthand how plastic surgery has long been a part of the local culture, embraced openly and without hesitation. Over the years, this acceptance has spread to other areas, including New York, where more people are now openly discussing their cosmetic procedures. This shift is largely due to significant advancements in both technology and techniques. Modern procedures offer more natural results and quicker recovery times, making cosmetic surgery a more attractive option for many. As a result, people feel comfortable sharing their experiences and proudly investing in their own well-being. This openness and evolution in the field reflect a broader societal acceptance of plastic surgery as a positive and personal choice.

Wow, what a great question! I feel truly blessed to have achieved many milestones recently. Overcoming adversity on a daily basis can be tough, but one of my greatest accomplishments has been the opening of our Boca Raton location and resuming surgeries in Florida. This feels like a full-circle moment for me. Beyond that, the most significant accomplishment is being able to pursue my passion every day while taking care of my beautiful family. These are the things that are priceless.

PHM: You have received many accolades for your work and were awarded the title of Patient Preferred Network's Plastic Surgeon of the Year, with patients giving your work five-star ratings and positive reviews. Congratulations on this outstanding achievement! What does being named a 'Patient Preferred Plastic Surgeon' mean to you?

Each patient's positive feedback is incredibly meaningful to me and reinforces our commitment to providing exceptional, personalized care. This award means so much to me.
